Andrew J. Witter, President and Principal Property Manager

Mr. Witter formed First Property Management in 1984 with one client which we continue to service today. Andrew is a graduate of the University of Vermont and has lived on Cape Cod since 1977 with his wife Joan who was the 2013 Massachusetts Realtor of the Year and past president of the Cape Cod and Islands Board of Realtors and his two children. Andrew oversees the management of all of the properties in our portfolio including budgeting, reporting, maintenance and long range planning. He is a member of the Community Associations Institute and The Institute of Real Estate Management and was a Founding Member of the National Association of Realtors Property Management Section. Andrew holds several professional designations including The Certified Manager of Community Associations and The Accredited Management Specialist from The Community Associations Institute and The Accredited Residential Manager designation from The Institute of Real Estate Management. Andrew has also been a participant in The Community Association Institute’s Professional Managers Development Program and has successfully completed several courses and will shortly complete the requirements to receive the designation of Professional Manager of Community Associations which is CAI’s highest level of professional achievement.

Devin Witter, Property Manager, Assistant to the President

Devin Witter was born and raised on Cape Cod.  He received his BFA from Maine College of Art and his Master Degree in Elementary Education at Portland State University in Portland, Oregon.  Devin directly manages a portfolio of properties, is liaison for First Property’s community web sites, and assists in all other aspects of management as needed.  He also works to help Habitat for Humanity manage their developing properties across the Cape, a program First Property is proud to contribute to.  Devin holds his Certified Manager of Community Associations Designation and has achieved his Association Management Specialist certification from The Community Association Institute.  Devin actively pursues his education in community management taking a course with the Community Association Institute at least every 3 months.  In Devin’s spare time he enjoys collecting records and cooking with his wife Brenna.

Shelder Carvalho, Accounting Manager

Shelder joined First Property Management in 2013. She is a graduate of Curry College where she received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management with a concentration in Human Resources. She has over nine years of experience in financial management and bookkeeping. She performs general accounting duties such as preparing, controlling, checking and balancing all accounts. In addition she is in charge of a variety of financial functions including maintenance of daily transactions such as accounts receivable and accounts payable and preparation of financial statements and records and verifying the accuracy of procedures used for recording financial transactions. Shelder has also been a participant in The Community Association Institute’s Professional Managers Development Program and has successfully completed course M-100.
Shelder is originally from Brazil and has been living on Cape Cod for 14 years. She and her husband Rodrigo are residents of Centerville and they both love everything about the Cape with the exception of the cold winters.

Anne Schulte, Administrative Assistant

Anne has been with First Property Management for 15 years. In her role as part time Administrative Assistant, she is typically the first person at FPM most realtors, attorneys and home sellers will speak with as they begin the sales process. She can help provide needed documents such as Certificate of No Assessment Due 6(d) and guidance for obtaining Certificates of Insurance and other documents.

Anne is a native of western Massachusetts and has lived in the District of Columbia, Florida and Southern California but has called Cape Cod home for the last 20 years. She is an active member of the community volunteering regularly at the Noah Shelter in Hyannis, The Family Pantry of Cape Cod in Harwich and delivering Meals on Wheels on a weekly basis. She is a graduate of Trinity College, Washington, D.C., a happy wife to Bob and the proud mother of two. Anne is valued in the office for her work ethic and sense of humor. Anne is also the office Wii Bowling Champion.

Bernard Zieman, Service Technicians

Bernie is talented in a variety of trades and can be seen frequently inspecting properties and making minor repairs.  He  frequently the liaison between the company and its clients.  Bernie can also provide security checks for our seasonal clients and handyman services directly to unit owners.
